Jewelery Making
If you are a beginner in making beaded jewelery, read the 'Beginner's
Guide to Handmade Beads Jewelery' - Cut the length of beading wire according to your preference. If you
want to make long necklace, cut a piece of wire that is 14-16 inches
long. For a short necklace, cut a piece of beading wire that is 10-12
inches long.
- From among the bulk acrylic beads that you have bought take two types
of acrylic beads. For example, you might pick acrylic
flower beads and acrylic
crystal beads or acrylic faceted
beads. /faceted-beads.html You can even take a different kind of large
bead like a shell bead or a
heart bead to use it as a pendant.
- Slip an eyepin through the hole of the shell bead or heart bead (that
you intend to make a pendant). Make a loop with the help of jewelry
pliers. This will let you place the pendant on the beading wire.
- Now add an acrylic bead to each side of the pendant.
- Choose two different kinds of acrylic beads to place after one
another. For example, you can go on adding one acrylic faceted bead and
one acrylic crystal bead on each side. Alternatively, you can imagine
your own design and place beads as per your choice.
- Leave enough space on both ends of the wire in order to add the
clasp.
- Make use of the jewelry pliers to attach the barrel clasp. Knot the
clasp to each side of the beading wire. Once the clasp is added, your
acrylic beads necklace is ready to wear.
