How to Make Anglican Prayer Beads?

Following are the step-by-step instructions for making Anglican Prayer Bead set.

Cut the beading thread into a length of 4 feet.

Bring both the ends of the thread together and thread in the beading needle. This way, you will have two strands.

Attach the small clamp at the end of the thread. While doing this, leave about 4 inches of the thread hanging.

Now its turn to string the beads. To start with, string the cross by sliding it down till it reaches the clamp.

Now string in 5 of the seed beads, then the invitatory bead.

Again string in another 5 pieces of seed beads and then one of the cruciform beads. Doing this will give you the stem of your prayer beads.

Now you will form the prayer beads path. For this, string in 3 of the seed beads followed by 7 beads for making the weeks. Then string in 3 seed beads followed by a cruciform bead. How To Make Cross Bead?

Follow the below given steps to make cross bead using pearls.

String in 5 pearls. Cross the fishing line through one and pull tight.

String in 3 more pearls. Cross through the middle (second) pearl.

Now string in 4 pearls on both left and right line. Cross each line back to the first pearl. Follow similar steps on both side.

Cross the line back the 2nd and 3rd pearl from step 2 and string in 4 pearls and cross back the first bead in this step.

Cross the line back the 4th and 1st pearl from step 2. Now string in and cross one pearl with both the lines. String in 3 pearls and cross through the middle pearl (second pearl in this step),. Repeat the procedure for thrice.
