February 08, 2010 10:20 AM- Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC)- the apex body of Indian gem & jewellery industry- had launched ANANT Diamond Jewelry in September 2009 to promote diamond jewelry sales to Indian consumers. In its first of its kind initiative by the industry, for the industry to boost and sustain growth of diamond jewelry in India, many steps have been taken by GJEPC for the success of ANANT- an exquisite range of single line diamond jewellery. ANANT diamond jewelry sponsors include Rio Tinto, Gold Souk & IGI.
GJEPC has launched a nationwide campaign across various platforms to promote
diamonds and diamond jewellery in India with participation of 27 manufacturers, diamond jewelers and hundreds of retail outlets. Sonam Kapoor, the latest bollywood heartthrob has been made the brand ambassador for ANANT diamond jewelry. GJEPC also organized the ANANT Buyer-Seller meet during 28th January’10 to 30th January’10 in Mumbai. The event was attended by major diamond retailers and manufacturers. The meeting intended to allow participants of ANANT to interact and explore opportunities to leverage the campaign to its fullest. ANANT’s collection comprising of exquisite Single Line Diamond jewellery are available at over 200 retail jewelery stores across the country.
