Worry Beads

Worry beads, traditionally known as Komboloi, are used to relieve stress and generally pass time. Unlike other form of prayer beads, the worry beads do not have religious significance as such. They are merely seen as an instrument of relaxation and stress management.

Materials
Mala beads are made from beads which may vary from :

Amber Coral Plastic Amber resin (such as Faturan)

Ceramic Bone Glass

These are generally preferred because they are pleasant to handle than non-organic materials such as metal or minerals. Greek Kombolois generally have an odd number of beads and may or may not sport a tassel.
